Biomedical research and technology deals with understanding the human body, identifying and treating illnesses, and enhancing healthcare via scientific advancements. Biomedical technology utilises the knowledge gained from biomedical research to develop useful tools and solutions for medical applications, whereas biomedical research aims to identify the fundamental causes of health and illness. It combines interdisciplinary fields like Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology, Dialysis Technology, Physiotherapy, Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology, Radiology and Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, and Optometry to address current issues and provide better solutions for those that will arise in the future.
International Conference of Biomedical Sciences (ICBS-2025) is an earnest effort by University School of Allied Health Sciences (USAHS), Rayat Bahra University to convene renowned subject matter experts from across the globe to be held on 14th – 15th April 2025. The conference will aid in exchange of scientific knowledge, innovative ideas in all the interdisciplinary professions fostering the minds of young professionals and students.

ICBS-2025 is a common scientific conference of all Allied Health Professions (AHPs). It is proposed to be an annual conference organized with the aim of sharing the latest scientific and common professional issues of allied health sciences and medical technology professions. Professionals from major Allied Health Professions will be participating in this conference from various institutes, engaged in standardization and advancement of Allied Health Services in India. The theme of the Conference "Innovations in Biomedical Research and Technologies for better patient care" which has a great significance when advanced technologies have developed in leaps and bounds with various applied techniques standardized for better services rendered by AHPs.
